What is Pony Kids’ Club?
Pony Kids Club (PKC) is a weekly 2-hour program that gives horse-loving kids a chance to safely work with horses on the ground without riding.
Perfect for first-time horse kids or young riders looking to build better ground skills, PKC combines horsemanship, fun games, and leadership development in a safe, welcoming environment.
Pony Kids Club was created to make horses accessible to all children by providing a safe, riding-free environment where kids can learn hands-on horsemanship, build confidence, and develop meaningful connections- with animals, mentors, and each other. Through structured activities, teamwork, and fun, PKC teaches responsibility, empathy, and leadership- one horse-loving kid at a time.
When? Every Sunday from 3pm-5pm at the Lakewood Equestrian Center
Who? 7-10 year olds
How Much? $150/month + $100 one-time registration fee (to cover your T-shirt and SEI-certified helmet)
PKC has a commitment to making horses more accessible to the community. Our staff of volunteers and trained teen leaders (our Counselors-in-Training) are passionate about animals, safety, and giving kids a chance to grow.
